So I keep getting stopped on campus and the street and asked where I buy my bag scarves. I think people assume that they're special scarves made just to put on your purse. this is false.

I use long skinny scarves in a wonderful bold pattern. Here's how you get them to stay securely on your bag.

Step one: Take your normally cute and unadorned bag.

 

Step 2: Find a long skinny scarf with a pretty pattern. This one is a classy print that reminds me of my Amma, but in a good way and it goes with everything. 

Step 3: Tie in a knot around a ring or around the handle.

Step 4: Tie in a bow, like you would your shoelaces.

Step 5: Flaunt your awesome new style

The beautiful thing is that you can change the look of your bag everyday and it's an easy way to add a little jazz to an outfit that would otherwise be kind of boring.
