holy rainstorm batman.

so it's pouring outside today. again.... and maybe it's the water or maybe it's the lack of sunshine but people today have been really cranky. No one is in a help other people kind of mood and it's really getting me down.  plus I didnt really get to wear anything cute because it's so pooey outside :(

Oh well. OWI meeting tonight to plan a benefit concert and then out to MC to cuddle with my man candy

Rough

Even though it was my day off today was kind of rough. I had a lot to get done but I woke up exhausted (thanks to my period, stupid monthly gift. bull.....)

So after pulling myself out of bed and doing a little writing I.then went to my appointment at the writing center and then to an exec board meeting. holy crap. that was a trip.
I just don't understand why things have to get complicated, it should be simple. The whole world should be simple, it makes sense in my head, but then other people get involved and it gets all messy.

I think part of the reason I didn't get anything accomplished was because I didn't get dressed today.

My mom made this sweater herself (she's so crafty) for my father. It's a traditional Iceland pattern and it's super cozy and warm. 100% Icelandic wool. ahhhh.

Blah. It's Monday

Yuck. It's Monday. Monday's are no fun.  But wearing bright colors is! See!

Ps My hair is messy but I don't care. Tis too windy to care.

Friday Friday Fun Fun Fun

Today is Friday. Dave and I decided to go for a walk. Ps there is a Dave now. Yea. Parents met and everything.

So a few years ago I went out to the bar with my girls and was dancing with this guy for lie...20 minutes before we turned to each other and went "...you look familiar, where are you from?...omgosh Dave.....Omgosh Rebekka!....you look so different!...." We went to high school together and we were in FFA, FCCLA, the Outdoor Club and choir together. We used to hang out and such and we were good friends. we kept in touch for a little while and then recently he moved here from Akron and we've been hanging out ever since. It's pretty cool.


So anyway we went on a hike because it was GORGEOUS!!!!!

Blarney Blarney blah blah blah

Its St Patrick Day today. According to Irish tradition it's about St Patrick and how he drove the snakes out of Ireland. In Ireland it's a holy day that people spend with their family and friends.


But I don't live in Ireland (unfortunately).

No I live in Bowling Green Ohio aka lets-drink-at-5 am -because- we-can-land. Now don't get me wrong I'm totally cool with have a drink to celebrate your heritage, but seriously there were broken bottles in the streets by 10 when I woke up. For real? Can we please go one day without smashing things when drunk. Silly.

It's my mommy's Birthday.

She is an amazing woman who has taught me so much and even though we've had our rough patches I still love her.

Today is Tuesday

Hey all

Today is Tuesday, which means no class. But golly has it been raining a lot lately. Almost all of the snow is here which meannsss.....ITS ALMOST SPRING!!!!

I'm so happy that it's almost time to not wear heavy boots and coats and sweaters and freezing all the time no matter how many layers I wear. yuck.

OH! and it's almost flea market timmmeeee. Mmm I love me a good bargain.

I do have to go to work later but till then I am relaxing and doing homework in a cute outfit if i do say so myself.

I used a leopard print scarf as a belt for just a touch of color

that's all I have to say I am behind.  It's bad.  February and I just didn't get along. sad face.

I wore a bright sweater, from here down it's jeans and snow boots. not cute, but functional. 

Me and the ladies (minus one) went out this weekend :)
